A Personal Best (PB) is the fastest time you have ever completed a category. Every run is an opportunity to improve, whether that means saving a few seconds or achieving a major breakthrough.
A World Record (WR) is the fastest verified time achieved by any runner in a specific category. While world records are often the most visible achievements, most runners spend their time chasing personal improvement, consistency, and new milestones of their own.
Speedrunning is more than racing the clock. Players compare times, share strategies, help each other learn, and compete on global leaderboards. Whether you are a world record holder or just starting your first run, there is always another goal to chase.
Most speedruns are not world records. They are practice, experimentation, mistakes, discoveries, and gradual improvement. Every reset, every completed run, and every saved second teaches something new.
